This piece has been put together with some prompting from a friend of mine, Brennan Magee, "Our gnome in Exmouth". He e-mailed me after seeing some "extreme ironing" on the television. With Brennan in mind, I decided to go fishing on the net. I hoped to discover some obscure mention of this activity, but to my surprise I found the official website!!
I contacted them to ask for a comment and the reply came from somebody called "Steam". He said: "Extreme ironing is the latest danger sport that combines the thrills of an extreme outdoor activity with the satisfaction of a well pressed shirt."
